Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) — Floral baskets were laid before the statue of the communist revolutionary fighter mother Kim Jong Suk in Hoeryong city, north Hamgyong Province, on December 24 on the occasion of her 80th birth anniversary.
A floral basket sent by General Kim Jong Il was laid before her statue.
Laid before her statue were floral baskets in the name of North Hamgyong Provincial Party Committee, and party and power bodies and adminstrative and economic organs in the Province.
The participants made bows in humble reverence to mother Kim Jong Suk.
A floral basket was laid before her statue in Kim Jong Suk County, Ryanggang Province, on Wednesday.
Chinese delegations, Korean residents in China and officials of the Consulate General of China in Chongjin visited the statue of mother Kim Jong Suk to lay floral baskets and make bows.
Chief of the Pyongyang mission of the National Democratic Front of South Korea (NDFSK) Ri Sang Chol and its members in the name of the NDFSK Central Committee and the military attaches corps here laid wreaths before the bust of mother Kim Jong Suk in the revolutionary martyrs cemetery on Mt. Taesong, Pyongyang.
O Ik Je, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland and advisor to the central guidance committee of the Korean Chondoist Association, visited the bust of mother Kim Jong Suk in the revolutionary martyrs cemetery on Mt. Taesong to pay homage to her.
