Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) – General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Dec. 24 on the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of the communist revolutionary fighter mother Kim Jong Suk.
The letter said that the mother Kim Jong Suk with most steadfast revolutionary outlook on the leader was the best guard, who defended President Kim Il Sung at the risk of her life as a bulwark and shield in the arduous anti-Japanese war and in the complicated situation after the liberation of the country and the loyalist who devoted her all to the good health of the great leader.
She was the noblest woman and a brilliant paragon of revolutionaries, who devoted all her wisdom and energies to the country, the people and posterity, and embroidered her life with patriotism, comradeship and love for posterity, the letter said, and went on:
She was a great mother of Korea who brought the sun of guidance for the 21st century who would carry forward the Juche revolutionary cause.
She will be alive in the mind of the people in the homeland and Korean residents in Japan as a heroine of the anti-Japanese war and woman general of Mt. Paektu, who established the tradition of patriotism and the tradition of defending the leader at the cost of life which would be eternal wealth of the Juche revolutionary cause, and as a peerless great woman who performed undying feats for the country, the nation and revolution.
The Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan will hold the fatherly leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung in high esteem for all ages as mother Kim Jong Suk wished and accomplish the Juche revolutionary cause and achieve victory in the movement of the Korean residents in Japan under the leadership of General Kim Jong Il.
