Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) — The Asian Regional Committee to Support Korea’s Reunification, the All-India Indo-Korean Friendship Association and the Indian Committee for Supporting Korea’s Reunification published a joint statement on Jan. 8 in support of the Korean people’s cause of national reunification which was clarified in the Joint New Year Editorial of the newspapers Rodong Sinmun and Joson Inmingun (Korean People’s Army).
The statement fully supported Korea’s stand of principle toward the question of reunification. A radical change should take place in south korea in order to achieve the reunification of korea at an early date, it said.
It stated that the U.S. troops should withdraw from South Korea as early as possible, taking along with them all their nuclear weapons so that the Korean people may achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country by means of founding the Democratic Confederal Republic of Koryo on the three principles of national reunification.
