Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) — Rodong Sinmun today observes the 48th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of India.
The Indian people since the proclamation of the Republic have made efforts to consolidate the national independence and achieve the independent development of the country, a signed article of the paper says, and goes on:
India, one of the founders of the non-aligned movement, has striven to strengthen the movement and developed relations with its neighbours.
The peoples of Korea and India have developed friendly relations from long time ago.
The Korean people are sincerely rejoiced over the success made by the Indian people in the building of a new society since the proclamation of the Republic and wish India greater prosperity.
