Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) — “We will extend full support and solidarity to the Libyan people in their struggle for justice as we did in the past.”
This position of the Korean people is reclarified by newspapers here today in articles dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the victory of the Great September First Revolution in Libya.
The papers support the Libyan people’s steadfast anti-imperialist independent stand.
Rodong Sinmun says:
In recent years the united states has continued military threat and economic sanctions against Libya on some pretext or other.
However, the Libyan people have firmly defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country and the nation, smashing the anti-Libya moves of the imperialists.
Their anti-imperialist stand for independence is resolute and they do not stand back from the road chosen by themselves.
The Korean people value the friendly and cooperative relations with the Libyan people, which were established in the common struggle against imperialism and for independence, and are striving to develop the relations.
Minju Joson says the Korean people wish the Libyan people greater success in their future efforts for a prosperous, new society.
