Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) — U.S. experts of Korean issue expressed their views on the first session of the 10th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Voice of America said on September 9.
A professor of Indiana State University in Pennsylvania, the U.S., said that the DPRK is an independent country that does what it wants to its own way. He did not think there would be a policy shift in the DPRK, he added.
The director of the Cultural Center in Hawaii, the U.S., said the recent revision and supplement of the constitution of the DPRK stemmed from General Secretary Kim Jong Il’s desire to hold President Kim Il Sung in high esteem forever and the DPRK people’s longing for election of General Secretary Kim Jong Il to thee said, adding that General Secretary Kim Jong Il will defend socialism to the end as desired by President Kim Il Sung.
