Silk banner to Kim Jong Il from Peruvian parties and organizations

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) – General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a joint silk banner from the Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship, the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland), the Peruvian Communist Party, the Revolutionary Socialist Party, the Socialist Party of Peru, the National Reconciliation Front of Peru, the Peruvian Nationalist Movement of Labour and the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea.

The chairman of the Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship handed the silk banner to the Korean ambassador to Peru at a meeting for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the DPRK held in Lima on Sept. 7.
He said that the silk banner reflected the Peruvian people’s high praise and appreciation of Kim Jong Il’s tireless efforts and immortal exploits for prosperity and development of socialist Korea, happiness of the people and world peace.
