Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) — The South Korean “Ministry of National Defence” described the north as the “sworn enemy” in what it calls “defence white paper”, fully betraying the true colors of the “people’s government” authorities as a herd of traitors whom the nation cannot pardon any longer.
Rodong Sinmun says this in a signed commentary today.
The daily bitterly denounces with surging national resentment the rash act of the war-thirsty authorities of South Korea as an open provocation and challenge to the north.
The description of the fellow countrymen as the “sworn enemy” is tantamount to a declaration of war, the news analyst says, and continues:
The controversial “white paper” will give rise to very serious consequences.
Inter-Korean relations will be driven into the worst phase and the situation be aggravated to the utmost.
We can never remain a passive onlooker to that misbehaviour, synchronised with the frantic anti-DPRK campaign mounted by the South Korean authorities in league with their U.S. and Japanese masters, who are groundlessly taking issue with the north in the wake of its recent launch of artificial satellite and crying for “pressure on it” and “joint countermeasure.”
The South Korean authorities should immediately withdraw the “white paper,” apologize to the north and promise that they will not repeat such a rash act. In case they refuse to do so, they will wholly be held responsible for the consequences therefrom.
