Cambodian ambassador to Korea gives party

Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) — Cambodian ambassador to Korea Oum Mannorine on Thursday gave a party at the embassy in celebration of the reelection of Kim Jong Il as Chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

Invited to the party were DPRK Foreign Minister Paek Nam Sun and officials concerned.
Speeches were made.
The ambassador said in his speech that all the Cambodian people under the noble guidance of King Norodom Sihanouk celebrated the historic event in which General Secretary Kim Jong Il was reelected as NDC Chairman of the DPRK.
He expressed support for the cause of the Korean people struggling for the construction, defence and reunification of the country in accordance with policies set forth by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
He emphasized that particular friendship forged long ago between Korea and Cambodia will be everlasting and further strengthen and develop.
