World Tourism Day

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) — Minju Joson today dedicates an article to the World Tourism Day.

The World Tourism Organization sets forth a slogan to suit the characters of tourism and organizes colorful events according to it on this day every year, the daily says, and goes on:
From this year the organization designates a specific country, where international events will be held on the occasion of the World Tourism Day. Mexico has been desigated this year.
The DPRK entered into the organization in September Juche 76 (1987). Tourism is rapidly developed in the DPRK by the right policy of its government.
Rich tourist resources of the country are positively developed and used and modern tourist equipment is expanding.
Korea boasts of tourist resorts such as world-famous Mt. Paektu, Mt. Kumgang and Mt. Myohyang.
Mt. Chilbo, Mt. Kuwol, Mt. Jongbang and Ryongmun cave have been built fine as pleasure grounds for the people and tourist resorts.
The number of tourists to the DPRK increases every year.
