Choe Thae Bok meets Chinese friendship visiting group

Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) — Choe Thae Bok, alternate member of the political bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Worker’s Party of Korea, today met and had a talk with the friendship visiting group of the Communist Party of China led by Luo Qingquan, member of the central commission for discipline inspection, deputy secretary of the Hubei provincial committee and secretary of the Wuhan city committee of the Communist Party of China.

Present were Choe Jin Su, deputy department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Li Bin, Chinese charge d’affaires in Korea.

Luo said that they saw the great achievements made by the Korean people in the socialist construction and their strivings to build a powerful socialist country under the leadership of the WPK led by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

We admire this and rejoice over it, he said.

He extended sincere congratulation to the Korean people on their achievements made in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and hard struggle and wished them greater success in the building of Korean-style socialism.

The two countries with mountains and rivers in between have a long history of friendly relations, he said, expressing the belief that the friendship forged in blood between the two countries will develop still further.
