Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) — Professors under the Jeonbug Council of Professors for Democracy was reported to be on a sit-in strike at Jeonbug National University from October 27 in demand of total abrogation of the “security law”.
105 professors from 6 universities and colleges in North Jolla Province denounced the present government for scheming to revise some articles of the “security law” as the preceding government did.
They held that the evil law which suppresses the freedom of expression and ideology and blocks peaceful reunification should be totally abrogated.
About 2,000 university professors all over South Korea including Seoul plan to go on a sit-in strike early in next month.
