Japanese “order” to pro-Japanese element

Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) — Pak Thae Jun, president of the “United Liberal Democrats,” during his Japan visit was awarded an “order” from Japanese Prime Minister Obuchi on Nov. 5 for holding the post of “chairman of the South Korea-Japan Parliamentary Union” for the third time till now, a Seoul-based radio reported.

He graduated from Waseda University. No sooner had Park Chung Hee staged the May 16 military coup d’etat in 1961 than Pak Thae Jun became his “chief secretary” to be hell bent on pro-Japanese, pro-U.S. acts.

When the “people’s government” appeared, he joined hands with another pro-Japanese element Kim Jong Pil, egging the “coalition government” and the present “National Assembly” on to pro-Japanese acts.
