Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) — A correspondence course was given for the demobilized soldiers at the Taehongdan county integrated farm by lecturers from Hyesan University of Agriculture and Forestry.
Hundreds of discharged soldiers, now farmers, were enrolled in correspondence course.
On-the-spot lectures on agriculture, farming mechanics and stockbreeding were given in various parts of the integrated farm.
The lecturers made detailed arrangements for the farmer-students. They included in their teaching plans the topics to be taught exclusively on the alpine areas and tried to give the students a wide range of knowledge.
As part of the study-while-working system, the correspondence course provided the demobilized soldiers access to higher learning.
