Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) — The U.S. zealous encouragement given to South Korea and Israel in their arms buildup and missile development, with a hue and cry over “missile threat” from the DPRK, is prompted by its invariable ambition to realise the strategy of world domination by strength, says Rodong Sinmun in a signed commentary today.
The commentary continues: For the realization of this strategy, the U.S. is using South Korea and Israel as a shock force respectively in East Asia and in Middle East in a bid to establish the unchallenged domination through an overwhelming military edge and, furthermore, have world supremacy.
The U.S. is working hard to build a “Theatre Missile Defense” system in South Korea and other regions of the world and threaten and stifle other countries by means of missile attack. This is sparking a new arms race and menacing peace and security in various parts of the world.
The U.S. and its followers are leaving no stone unturned to stifle the DPRK by force, having deployed a large number of nuclear weapons and the latest war equipment in South Korea and around the Korean peninsula. It is, therefore, quite natural for us to increase our self-reliant defence power to cope with these anti-DPRK moves and nobody has the right to take issue with it, the commentary observes, and stresses:
The U.S. is well advised to drop its bad habit of satisfying its needs by provoking others and stop egging its followers on to the missile development.
