Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) — The Council of Huaura Province, Peru, adopted a decision to award an honorary citizenship of Huacho city to the President Kim Il Sung to mark the day of the socialist constitution of the DPRK.
A ceremony for awarding a certificate of honorary citizenship and a gold medal was held in the Huaura provincial office in Peru on November 26.
Present at the ceremony were the Mayor of Huacho who is also the governor of the province, members of the council, the DPRK ambassador to Peru and his embassy officials.
The certificate of honorary citizenship and gold medal were handed to the DPRK ambassador by the governor of the province after the decision of the council was read out at the ceremony.
The governor said the decision to enlist President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, as an honorary citizen of Huacho city and award the certificate of honorary citizenship and gold medal to him, is an honor and pleasure for all the people in the province and city.
He wished for the immortality of Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK.
Written in the certificate of honorary citizenship is a message reading, the Huacho city hall in Huaura province, enlists Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK, as a honorary citizen of Huacho city.
