U.S. and S. Korean rulers warned of severe punishment

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) — Minju Joson today in a signed commentary denounces the United States and the South Korean rulers for their intensified moves to stifle the DPRK.

They agreed to “strengthen the cooperation system against the DPRK” at the “annual security consultative meeting”, thus fully revealing their attempt to invade it. And U.S. Defense Secretary Cohen went so far as to let loose such ultimatum-like outburst as the DPRK should choose between “cooperation” and “confrontation”.

The commentary goes on:

They have disclosed their attempt to invade the DPRK, a clear indication that they are going to ignite another Korean war at any cost.

Whenever the DPRK-U.S. talks were under way, the United States talked about “high-level talks” with the DPRK, clamoring about “guarantee of peace and security” on the Korean peninsula. But behind the scene of the talks it staged war maneuvers targeted against the DPRK.

It is the consistent stand of the DPRK to return dialogue for dialogue, war for war.

Our strike against the aggressors will be merciless and there is no room in the world for them to escape from it.
