Kim Yong Nam Meets Megawati

l; Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with former Indonesian President Megawati Soekarnoputri, chairwoman of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, and her party who are staying here to attend the commemorations of the 40th anniversary of Kimilsungia, flower of the sun, and the 7th Kimilsungia Festival, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Thursday.

Present there were Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairman of the DPRK-Indonesia Friendship Association, and Hendrati Sukendar Munthe, Indonesian ambassador to the DPRK.

Kim Yong Nam hosted a luncheon for Megawati Soekarnoputri and her party Thursday.
