Repeal of Bill on Part-Time Job Urged

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) — Professors’ organizations including the “National Professors Union” held a press conference on April 22 at which it demanded the retraction of the bill on part- time job now being pushed forward by the “government” and the ruling party, according to south Korean MBC.

They charged that the bill presented by the “government” would only increase the scope of the part-time job and widen the divide.

The passage of the bill would reduce most of the regular workers to part-timers, they noted, demanding the withdrawal of the bill and the adoption of a genuine bill on the protection of the part-timers.
