Talks between DPRK and Czech Republic Held

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) — Talks were held between Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, and Lubomir Zaoralek, speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on May 21.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two law-making bodies and a series of issues of common concern.

Present there from the DPRK side were Kang Nung Su, vice-chairman of the SPA, Hong So Hon and Kim Kwang Chol, deputies to the SPA, and officials concerned and from the Czech side Ivan Langer, deputy speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Members of the Chamber of Deputies Vladimir Lastuvka, Pavel Kovacik, Michaela Sojdrova and Pavel Svoboda, and Miroslav Podhajsky, charge d’affaires of the Czech embassy here, and others.
