True Story about U.S. Touted “Strategic Flexibility” Revealed

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) — Senior officials of the U.S. administration admitted themselves to the fact that the “strategic flexibility” conception is clearly aimed at a war on the Korean Peninsula, according to south Korean MBC.

The U.S. deputy assistant secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs said that the “strategic flexibility” conception is designed to rapidly hurl the U.S. forces into the Korean Peninsula in case of “emergency” from other regions in a bid to meet the “challenge to its security.”

Meanwhile, the director for Asian Affairs of the National Security Council of the White House also disclosed that the “strategic flexibility” conception is aimed not only at promptly mobilizing the U.S. troops in south Korea in case of an emergency in the regions around the Korean Peninsula but at deploying the U.S. forces in other regions in south Korea in “contingency” on it.

Such reckless remarks lay bare the U.S. sinister intention to achieve the goal of its war of aggression with ease by realizing the so-called “strategic flexibility” conception. This clearly indicates what the U.S. is actually seeking through the relocation of its forces pushed forward by Washington under the pretext of “reduction.”
