Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, Tuesday met and conversed with Facine Toure, a special envoy of the Guinean president, and his party in a friendly atmosphere at the Mansudae Assembly Hall.
Choe Su Hon, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned were on hand.
Also present was Banou Keita, director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea and chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Farming Method, who is on a visit to the DPRK.
The special envoy said Guinea and the DPRK are geographically far away from each other, but the DPRK is always cherished in the depth of the hearts of the Guinean people.
Expressing energetic support to the just stand taken by the DPRK, he said Guinea was greatly encouraged by the DPRK fighting the United States unflinchingly.
He evinced the belief that the Korean people will achieve greater successes in the future as they are under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Il who is carrying the cause of President Kim Il Sung to a brilliant reality.
