Solidarity Struggle of S. Korean Motor Workers Unions

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) — Motor workers unions of Hyundai, Dae Woo and Kia businesses affiliated with the south Korean Confederation of Traden Unions, entered a full-scale solidarity struggle of regular and part-time workers for the right to existence, according to south Korean MBC.

The unions decided to demand of the employers a special negotiation for the settlement of the issue of illegal dispatch of part-time workers and the issue of part-time job and form strike groups to stage sit-down strikes in tents at work places. They declared they would admit part-time workers in the trade unions of regular workers and stage a practical joint struggle.
