Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Women’s Company

Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) — Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, inspected a three revolution red flag women’s company of KPA Unit 578 honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led Seventh Regiment.

He set forth tasks to be fulfilled to further increase the company’s combat capability, satisfied with its soldiers’ firepower training.

After learning about the company’s fulfillment of its training program, he instructed the company to continue to focus its efforts on training so that all its soldiers may have a good command of combat and technical equipment and possess high combat capability.

He watched the thick verdure in the compound of the barracks and birds’ nests made by them on every tree.

He appreciated the women soldiers’ patriotism, noting that they reflect their ardent desire to make the landscape of the country more beautiful. He acquainted himself with the living of soldiers, going round an educational room, a bedroom, a mess hall, a kitchen, a wash-cum-bath house, a non-stable food store, a barn and other entertainment and logistic facilities of the company.

He also saw a wall paper and soldiers’ bulletin board.

He appreciated the lifestyle of the soldiers of the company, pleased to learn that they are leading a life replete with militant spirit by sprucing up their posts as required by the WPK’s slogan “Let’s train, study and live like the anti-Japanese guerillas!”.

He was greatly pleased to see all soldiers of the company trained into comprehensively qualified stalwart fighters.
He gave the servicepersons of the company a pair of binoculars and an automatic rifle as gifts before having a photo session with them.
