Bulletins Issued in Peru and Czech Republic

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) — An information bulletin titled “Leader Kim Jong Il and the Workers’ Party of Korea” was published by the Peru Group for the Study of Kimilsungism on June 10 on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the WPK Central Committee and the 5th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

The bulletin noted that Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into the Party of President Kim Il Sung which takes the Juche idea as its only guiding idea, a militant organization firmly based on the monolithic leadership system of the leader and a political organization that upholds and strengthens the unity and cohesion of the whole society.
Thanks to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il, socialist Korea has become a steel-like entity as the servicepersons and people are united around its headquarters and share the same idea and fighting trait. The reunification of Korea is sure to be achieved as there is the Songun politics which guarantees the implementation of the joint declaration, it stressed.

An information bulletin titled “On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the publication of the North-South Joint Declaration” was published at a county committee of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia on June 8.

The bulletin in an article said that the joint declaration adopted in June of 2000 called for achieving the country’s reunification on the basis of the three principles–independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity–by the concerted efforts of the Koreans, recalling that since the publication of the joint declaration grand festivals for national reunification have been held in the north and the south of Korea and exchange and cooperation made in various fields including politics, economy, culture and sports.

The joint declaration serves as an important milestone for Korea’s reunification, it added.
