Social Activist Taken Away in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) — The south Korean security authorities reportedly took away Kim Hung Hyon, co-representative of the “National Federation of Stall Keepers”, on June 15.

The arrest has been made for the reason that he took the lead in the campaign for the vital rights of stall keepers and initiated the “2005 national meeting of the poor” for the settlement of the issue of poverty.
