Evening Galas Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) — Evening galas of youth and students were held in different parts of the DPRK Sunday evening to celebrate the 41st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

These functions took place in different parts of Pyongyang including the plazas in front of the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Monument to Party Founding, the Arch of Triumph and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium.

Youth and students danced to the tune of such songs as “Let’s Sing of Our Pride in Being under the Guidance of the General,” “Our General Is Best,” “Ever-Victorious Workers’ Party of Korea,” “Pride of Youth” and “Pyongyang Is Best.”

Evening galas of youth and students also took place in Sinuiju, Kanggye, Haeju and Sariwon and other provincial capitals, cities and county seats on the occasion of the significant day.
