Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) — A combined performance was given by participants in the 44th National Schoolchildren’s Art Festival at the Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Palace on Monday.
They included members of art groups of schoolchildren’s palaces and houses and middle and primary schools across the country who had been selected in the provincial, city and county contests of the National Schoolchildren’s Art Festival.
The performers put on the stage colorful numbers highly praising the undying exploits of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and Marshal Kim Jong Il.

A concert of high-pitched flute “Pleasure of Joining the Children’s Union,” a duet “Big Potatoes in Taehongdan,” song and story telling “Sea Drawn by Ok I” and others deeply impressed the audience.
Their repertoire included such numbers as chorus “Let Us Be Loyal to Father Kim Jong Il with Good Knowledge, Moral Character and Health,” boys’ chorus “I Will Do Like Soldiers of the Korean People’s Army” and girls’ chorus “Let Us Go with the Honor of Getting Top Marks.”
Among the audience were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, officials of educational institutions and organizations of the youth league in Pyongyang.
