Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) — The South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country’s Reunification reportedly made public a statement on June 30 in connection with the recent disclosure of the fact that the U.S. forces in south Korea staged in secrecy an exercise of escaping from the Korean Peninsula as part of their preparations for the operation of preemptive attack on the north.
Recalling that the exercise which involved the U.S. forces and their families across south Korea was not a simple drill but an exercise staged under the simulated conditions of an “actual war,” the statement stressed this indicates that the U.S. war scenario has entered the phase of its implementation.
There is no justification for the U.S. forces to stay in the Korean Peninsula as the Koreans greeted the era of “By our nation itself,” the statement noted, adding:
We youth and students strongly demand the U.S. forces immediately quit this land.
