Korean Book, Photo and Handicraft Exhibitions Held in Russia and Mongolia

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) — Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibitions were held in Murmansk City, the Dubna International United Nuclear Institute, the Russian Central Armed Forces Museum, Podolsk City and Dmitrov City of Russia during the period from June 10 to 27 on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

On display at the exhibition halls were Korean books including famous works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos introducing the might of Songun Korea and handicrafts showing the wisdom and skill of Koreans.

The deputy director of the Cultural Bureau of the Murmansk City Government in his speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition said he was pleased that a DPRK book, photo and handicraft exhibition was opened in the city for the first time and this provided an opportunity to know better about its politics, economy and culture. He wished the Korean people greater success in socialist construction under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

A DPRK handicraft exhibition was opened at the Mongolian Art Gallery on June 27.
