Exercise of Jurisdiction on Criminals of U.S. Forces Demanded

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) — The “emergency measure committee for probing truth behind the killing of the south Korean woman by U.S. army truck” in south Korea reportedly demanded the exercise of jurisdiction on the criminals of the U.S. forces.

The organization at a press conference held on July 4 in front of the government building denounced the results of the police investigation into the killing of woman Kim Myong Ja by a U.S. army truck in Tongduchon City, Kyonggi Province, on June 10. It strongly demanded the government authorities exercise jurisdiction on the criminals for probing the truth behind the case.

If the U.S. forces are allowed to exercise jurisdiction on the case, the truth behind the case will be hidden and the criminals will be declared not guilty as was the case with the murder of two schoolgirls in 2002, the organization charged.
