Preparatory Committees Inaugurated in Mongolia

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) — Preparatory committees for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Korea were formed with due ceremony at University of Culture of Mongolia and the Federation of Peace and Friendship Organizations of Mongolia on July 19 and 20 under the sponsorship of the Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development of Mongolia and the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society.

On display in the venues of the ceremonies were photos introducing the immortal leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

N. Sarantuya, executive chairman of the association, in his speech at a ceremony referred to the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, adding the association would widely introduce their exploits on the occasion.

The vice-chairman of the society in his speech at a ceremony pointed out the efforts made by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the development of the friendly relations between Mongolia and the DPRK, noting that the 60th anniversary of Korea’s liberation is not only a holiday for the Korean people but a holiday common to all its members.
The ceremonies elected M. Ganjorig, chairman of the Association, and Ch. Surenjav, chairman of the Society, chairmen of the preparatory committees and N. Sarantuya and the vice-chairman of the society general secretaries of the committees.

The committees decided to hold colorful political functions including a meeting and seminar and publish famous works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and introduce the DPRK on the occasion.
