New Fodder Additive Developed

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) — Researchers of an institute under the Ministry of Light Industry of the DPRK have made a new kind of fodder additive by processing asteroid by a microbiological method.

They succeeded in making gruel-like multi amino acids which are sweetish, fragrant and saltless by applying a method of hydrolysis by enzyme in the intestines of asteroid.
The gruel contains essential amino acids similar to those in beef and biological active materials like those in sea cucumber and insam (ginseng). Therefore it is very efficacious for increasing the body weight of domestic animals.
