U.S. Urged to Properly Approach Six-Party Talks

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) — The Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in south Korea reportedly issued a statement titled “The U.S., stop its financial sanctions and implement the agreement reached at the six-party talks” on April 1.

Accusing the U.S. of recently getting evermore pronounced in its financial sanctions against the DPRK, the statement said that it is no more than an action of barring the six-party talks from resuming.

The U.S. is hurting the north by raising a hue and cry over the non-existent issues of “counterfeit notes” and “human rights”, the statement noted, urging the U.S. to stop all sorts of base accusations against the north and sincerely opt for the resumption of the six-party talks.

The statement repeatedly demanded that the U.S. stop the groundless accusations and sanctions against the north as it promised in the joint statement adopted at the 4th round of the six-party talks that calls for respect to each other’s sovereignty and peaceful co-existence with others and come out for the talks with a sincere attitude.
