Holidays of DPRK Marked in Different Countries

Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) — The Day of the Sun and the 13th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission were commemorated in different countries. A Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition was opened in Bulgaria and film shows, round-table talks and lectures held in the Czech Republic, Tanzania and Uganda in the period from March 30 to April 4.

On display at the exhibition were works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos showing their undying feats, books introducing Korea, and handicraft works associated with the Korean nation’s wisdom and talents.
The director of the Sofia City Cultural Institute said at its opening ceremony that the Bulgarian people would have a better understanding of Korea through the exhibition. He wished the Korean people big success in their efforts for the prosperity and reunification of the country.

The chairman of the Kutna Hora County Committee of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia said that the film show brought home to him the might of the Korean People’s Army and the source of the invincibility of the DPRK and hardened his belief that nobody in the world can match such army and people.
The secretary general of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups noted in a lecture that the might of the Songun politics has been fully displayed in the DPRK mainly because it is the perfect socialist political mode fully supported by all the Korean people. Socialist Korea will make a long drive under the banner of Songun, he said.
