April Holidays of DPRK Commemorated Abroad

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) — A lecture and a film show were hosted by the Left United Party of Romania, a meeting by the People’s Rally for Socialism of Democratic Congo and a reading session of leader Kim Jong Il’s famous work “On Some Questions in Understanding the Juche Philosophy” by the College of Culture of Mongolia from March 30 to April 3 to commemorate the Day of the Sun and the 13th anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

On show at the venues of the functions were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and pictures illustrating their immortal feats in Songun leadership.
After watching the Korean film “He Will Always Be Alive in the Hearts of Humankind”, the vice-chairman of Left United Party of Romania said no one can match the President in the great spirit of internationalism, many leaders worldwide highly praise him as a political veteran and benevolence incarnate and the great exploits performed by him for the world revolution will always be cherished in the hearts of the progressives.
General Secretary of the People’s Rally for Socialism of Democratic Congo Jean Baptiste Nkoy said in his report at the meeting that the President took the road of revolution in his early years and made immortal contributions to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

Meanwhile, meetings were held by the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union, the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association and the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association and a reading session and a photo exhibition by the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia from April 2 to 5 to mark the Day of the Sun.
