Cambodian King Sends Large Floral Basket to DPRK Embassy

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) — Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni sent a large basket of flowers to the DPRK embassy in his country on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

Written on the ribbons of the floral basket were letters “The noblest respect and glory to HE Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people. Norodom Sihamoni, king of the Kingdom of Cambodia”.

Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace, together with secretary and undersecretary of state of the Ministry for the Royal Palace, visited the DPRK embassy on Apr. 11 and placed the floral basket before the portraits of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

The deputy prime minister said:

King Norodom Sihamoni prayed that the President would always live in the hearts of the Korean people.

He wished Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, good health and greater success in the noble work of leading the Korean people to prosperity.
