Officials of Indian Embassy Help Korean Farmers

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) — Indian Ambassador to the DPRK N. T. Khankhup and officials of the Indian embassy helped farmers of the Korea-India Friendship Kalchon Cooperative Farm on Monday.

The guests were briefed on the history of the farm in front of the monument to revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

They went round the field under cultivation of wheat whose seeds were donated by them and gave a helping hand to the farmers busying themselves with immediate farming work.

They talked with the farmers, deepening the feelings of friendship.

The ambassador said that he would make positive efforts for the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, and wished the farm great success in the agricultural production this year.
