Pamphlet on DPRK Published in Peru

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) — A pamphlet “Peace in DPRK Guaranteed by Armed Forces” was brought out by the National Association of Writers and Artists of Peru on June 19 on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. It was written by Jose Antonio Gamara Puertas, chairman of the association and president of the General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute.

In a preface the pamphlet says:

One can say that the DPRK’s policy on guaranteeing peace by armed forces was prompted by the historical, political and geographical factors of Korea.

The Songun policy pursued by Kim Jong Il is an original policy as it is the first of its kind in human history.

In order to study the Songun policy it is necessary to deeply study the history of development of the DPRK.

The DPRK’s policy on guaranteeing peace by armed forces had already been enforced by President Kim Il Sung as a state policy and it has been consistently carried forward by Kim Jong Il as the Songun policy reflecting the desire of the popular masses, the history of Korea and its stirring reality today.
