Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) — The Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization made public a statement on June 28 on the occasion of the month of international solidarity with the Korean people. We express firm solidarity with the friendly Korean people in their cause of justice to prevent war and defend peace in the Korean Peninsula, it said.
More than half a century has passed since a war broke out in Korea, the statement said, pointing out that they strongly oppose all sorts of war of aggression on the earth and holding that a war should not break out again in the Korean Peninsula.
Korea should be certainly reunified in the near future on the three principles of independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity as desired by the whole Korean nation, stressed the statement.
