Anniversary of Demise of Kim Il Sung Commemorated in Different Countries

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) — Meetings, film shows and photo exhibitions took place in Nepal, Mongolia and Laos between July 3 and 5 on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Hung on the walls of the venues of the events were portraits of the President and displayed there were the photographs showing the undying feats of the President and Kim Jong Il.

Attendants of the film shows watched Korean film “The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Meets with Heads of State and Prominent Figures of Different Countries.”

Speeches were made at the events.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) noted that the President devoted his all to the cause of independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and led the cause for human liberation and global independence to victory under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism.

The vice-chairman of the Nepalese National Memorial Committee for the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the chairman of the Journalists Association of Nepal said that they keenly realized once again that the President was the most prominent man produced by the 20th century.

The executive chairman of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society noted that the Mongolian people will always remember the feats performed by the President for the Korean revolution and the world revolution and glorify the tradition of friendship established by him.
