Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) — Meetings, photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Mexico, India, Syria and Tunisia from July 2 to 6 on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Exhibited in the venues of functions were photos showing the undying revolutionary exploits of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and shining achievements made by the Korean people under the banner of Songun.
Participants of the film shows watched Korean films “The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Meets with Heads of State and Prominent Figures of Foreign Countries”, “The Great Life in 1994” and “The Kumsusan Memorial Palace”.
Anita Chopra, chairwoman of the Society for the Study of the Juche Philosophy of Indian Working Women, said in a speech that the whole life of Kim Il Sung was a great life as he made immortal contributions to the triumphant advance of the human cause of independence under the uplifted banner of socialism and independence against imperialism.
Samir Ismail, dean of the Political Faculty at University of Damascus in Syria, said in a speech that Kim Il Sung was the hero of the century and an outstanding strategist who led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and achieved the liberation of Korea and humbled the pride of the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the “strongest” in the world in the Korean war.
A message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at a remembrance meeting in Tunisia.
