Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) — The Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Mongolian embassy here Monday arranged a photo exhibition and a film show at the People’s Palace of Culture on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Mongolia, the 800th anniversary of the formation of the Mongolian state and the 85th anniversary of the Mongolian people’s victory in revolution.
Attending the function were Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Choe Su Hon, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the same committee who is vice-chairman of the Korea-Mongolia Friendship Association, and others.
Present there were Mongolian Ambassador to the DPRK Janchivdorjyn Lomvo and embassy officials.
Speeches were made there.
The participants looked round photos showing the President receiving Mongolian leaders and figures of various strata and the history of Mongolia and its present appearance.
They watched Korean documentary film “The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Receives Heads of State and Prominent Figures of Foreign Countries” and a Mongolian feature film.
