Talks Held between Parliamentary Delegations of DPRK and Iran

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) — Talks between the delegations of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Tuesday.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the SPA delegation led by Kim Wan Su, chairman of the Korea-Iran Friendship Parliamentary Group, and from the Iranian side members of the parliamentary delegation led by Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpei, chairman of the Iran-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Jalaleddin Namini Mianji, Iranian ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the relations between the two parliaments to keep pace with the friendly and cooperative relations growing stronger in various fields between the DPRK and Iran and a series of issues of mutual concern.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
