Stand of DPRK Government Supported by South African Party Leader

Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) — The secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party issued a statement on July 21 on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the great Fatherland Liberation War. He expressed full support and solidarity with the stand of the DPRK government to increase its war deterrent for self-defence in every way to cope with the hostile acts of the U.S.

The great victory won by the army and people of the DPRK by repulsing the armed invasion of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces in the Fatherland Liberation War was a shining fruition of the gifted military strategy and outstanding commandership of President Kim Il Sung, he stressed.

Under the original Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il the DPRK has turned into an impregnable fortress which no formidable enemy can ever provoke, he said, stressing that the U.S. should not forget the disgrace it suffered in the Korean war and bear in mind that its start of another war would lead it to a self-destruction.
