Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) — Mongolian President Nambariin Enkhbayar met with a delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries headed by acting Chairman Mun Jae Chol at the state building on August 2. The delegation is staying in Mongolia to attend the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Mongolia and the 800th anniversary of the formation of the Mongolian state.
He said that the Mongolian people are attaching great importance to the 50th anniversary of Kim Il Sung’s visit to Mongolia and are pleased to significantly observe the anniversary together with the Korean people.
The Mongolia-Korea friendship is a traditional one, he said, stressing that he would strive to boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields in the future.
