Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) — Phanindra Raj Pant, deputy secretary general of the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Committee of Nepal and secretary of the Nepalese Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea, made public a statement on October 3 on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.

The statement said that the proposal is the most realistic one to reunify Korea.

It noted that Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles of national reunification, the proposal for founding the DFRK and the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation as the three charters for national reunification and ushered in the June 15 era of reunification, thus performing immortal feats for the cause of Korea’s reunification.

The statement sincerely wished Kim Jong Il good health for the greater success of the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country at an early date, smash all sorts of the imperialists’ moves and build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation.
