DPRK’s H-Bomb Test Supported by Newspaper of DR Congo

Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) — L’Avenir, the newspaper of DR Congo, on Jan. 11 carried a commentary titled “How is peace defended” under the headline “DPRK’s successful first H-bomb test”.

The commentary said that the DPRK’s H-bomb test stunned the world, adding:
The DPRK has chosen the way of having access to the nuclear deterrent against the U.S. attempt for nuclear attack.
Convinced that the sovereignty of the country, dignity of the nation and global peace and stability can be defended only by arms under the present situation in which the imperialists’ high-handedness and invasion are rampant, the DPRK has strengthened the military capability in every way with the original Songun politics.
The peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula are directly linked to global ones.
The showdown between the DPRK which regards the sovereignty dearer than life and the U.S. which seeks to dominate the DPRK and the world will lead to a thermonuclear war.
But now that the DPRK proudly joined the advanced nuclear weapons states by having access to H-bomb, the U.S. dares not ignite a war in the Korean Peninsula.
The strong nuclear deterrent of the DPRK to cope with the U.S. reckless nuclear hysteria serves as the most powerful treasured sword for defending peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world.
