Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) — The working class of the Sangwon Cement Complex surpassed the peak year production of cement last year.
Last year they brought about a fresh surge in surpassing the peak year production.
The complex actively introduced reasonable methods for putting production on a normal track despite the shortage in electric supply, thus effecting great innovation at all production processes and units such as the newly-remodeled kiln No.1.
It sent more than 1 000 tons of the first batch of production to major project sites such as the construction site of Mirae Scientists Street.
It successfully fulfilled its production plan for January and the first quarter of the year ahead of schedule.
Despite many technical problems such as selection of the proper raw materials the complex succeeded in high-quality cement production technology that relies on locally available raw materials and fuel with indigenous efforts and technology.
All the workers, technicians and officials of the complex waged a devoted drive day and night to produce even one ton of more cement and thus contributed to ushering in a great era of the country’s prosperity in which ten years’ work is done in just one year.
