DPRK’s H-bomb Test Hailed by Brazilian Personage

Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) — Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, dedicated an article titled “DPRK’s H-bomb test is exercise of legitimate right to cope with the U.S. nuclear blackmail” to the January 15-18 issue of the Brazilian paper Hora do Povo.

Noting that the U.S. is displeased with the wide publicity of news of the first successful test of H-bomb worldwide, the article went on:
The U.S. is dismissing as a lie the fact that socialist Korea bolstered its nuclear deterrence by succeeding in the H-bomb test by its own efforts and with its indigenous technology.
This is because that the U.S. does not want to recognize the DPRK as one of a few countries possessed of H-bomb and carrier rockets.
But the world progressives are extending support to the Korean people all out to protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country, hailing the H-bomb test as a just measure to cope with the U.S. nuclear blackmail and hostile policy towards the DPRK.
Explicitly speaking, the DPRK’s access to nuclear weapons was caused by the U.S. escalating nuclear threat and blackmail against it.
The U.S. should respond to the DPRK’s proposal for replacing the Armistice Agreement by a peace treaty.
